Langston Hughes House

The Langston Hughes House is a three-story, Italianate-style brownstone located at twenty East one hundred twenty-seventh Street. Built in eighteen sixty-nine by developers James Meagher and Thomas Hanson, the row house features a tall stoop, cast-iron railings, and arched window frames finished in brown sandstone.
