Historic Luxton Home Museum

The Historic Luxton Home Museum on Beaver Street is a preserved residence identified by the tall, one-hundred-and-twenty-year-old lilac trees that border its Arts and Crafts style garden. Built around nineteen oh five, the house served as the family home for Norman and Georgina Luxton and their daughter Eleanor for nine decades. The property remains an intimate window into the lives of these early Banff pioneers, who were central to the town’s development as a tourist destination.
