Stoa X. Mpolani

Stoa Bolani, located at seven Voulis Street, is one of the many narrow, covered arcades that weave through the downtown blocks of Athens. These passages originally emerged in the basements and lower floors of townhouses to accommodate a growing city population, providing space for shops and commuters to navigate between major thoroughfares. Today, the arcade is marked by its retro-style signage at the entrance and a mix of storefronts that have become fixtures of the local streetscape.
