Afternoon Sun Garden

The Garden of the Afternoon Sun is defined by its elevated concrete seating tiers that face directly out toward the Thermaic Gulf. It is one of thirteen thematic green spaces created along the Nea Paralia waterfront, designed by architects Prodromos Nikiforidis and Bernard Cuomo. These gardens follow the city’s linear coastline, beginning near the White Tower and stretching toward the Concert Hall.
