Holy Church of Panagia Paraportiani

The Church of Panagia Paraportiani is a bright white, asymmetrical mass of buildings that appears to shift and curve like living sculpture. This structure in the Kastro neighborhood of Mykonos town is not a single building, but a complex of five separate churches merged into one. Four small chapels sit at ground level—dedicated to Saints Anargyroi, Sozon, Eustathios, and Anastasia—while a fifth, the Church of the Virgin Mary, stands elevated above them.
