The structure known as Bhool Bhulaiya is an octagonal tomb distinguished by its complex, labyrinthine interior of narrow passages and stairs. Built in fifteen sixty-two, it serves as the resting place of Adham Khan, a general in the army of the Mughal emperor Akbar. The tomb’s distinctive octagonal shape and minarets on each side stand out against the surrounding area of Mehrauli.
