The Old Light House stands as a prominent granite Doric column within the grounds of the Madras High Court. Built between eighteen thirty-eight and eighteen forty-four, this structure rises one hundred and twenty-five feet above the ground. It features a tapered design, measuring sixteen feet in diameter at the base and narrowing to eleven feet at the top.
