Kasuga Gorakujo is a multi-level arcade in the Shinsekai district of Osaka, distinguishable by its glowing signs and its long history in a neighborhood known for its retro atmosphere. Since its founding around nineteen fifty-nine, the space has evolved from a dining hall into an entertainment venue that bridged the Showa and Reiwa eras. The founder, originally from Niigata, named the business after Kasugayama Castle, the former residence of the daimyo Uesugi Kenshin.
