Tennoji Zoo

Tennoji Zoo is marked by its expansive eleven-hectare grounds situated within Tennoji Park, an urban space that has evolved through a succession of exhibitions and leisure areas since the early twentieth century. Opened on January first, nineteen fifteen, this was the third zoo established in Japan. It occupies a site that once hosted a large exhibition hall, later transitioning into a permanent home for wildlife.
