The Shinjuku Toho Building is marked by a massive, twelve-meter tall sculpture of Godzilla that looms over its eighth-floor terrace, peering down at the streets of Kabukicho. Completed in twenty-fifteen, the thirty-story skyscraper occupies the former site of the Shinjuku Koma Theater. The head is modeled after the version of the monster from the nineteen-ninety-two film Godzilla versus Mothra.
