The Park Hyatt Tokyo is defined by the three distinct triangular peaks that cap the Shinjuku Park Tower, a skyscraper designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Kenzo Tange. It opened in nineteen ninety-four as the first international luxury hotel of its kind in the city, pioneering a mixed-use approach that housed offices and shops below the private sanctuary of the hotel floors.
