Havre 77

Havre seventy-seven is recognizable by the two-story glass and steel structure that appears to grip the top of the nineteenth-century brick mansion below it. This building in the Colonia Juárez neighborhood was once a private home for an upper-middle-class family during the Porfiriato era. After the neighborhood suffered through revolutionary conflict, two major earthquakes in nineteen fifty-seven and nineteen eighty-five, and a long-standing rent freeze, the house fell into a state of decay.
