The Queenstown War Memorial is a stone archway marking the entrance to the Queenstown Gardens. Unveiled on Anzac Day in nineteen twenty-two, it was designed to be prominently visible from the waterfront to ensure that both residents and visitors would notice the sacrifice made by the small, isolated community during the First World War.
