Atlas Beer Cafe sits tucked away at the back of the Steamer Wharf complex on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. Its most recognizable feature is an industrial-style beer tap system, where steel pipes and copper tubing weave across the ceiling to feed two dozen rotating craft taps. This arrangement was engineered in two thousand fifteen by fitting nearly two hundred kilograms of metal and an I-beam into one of the smallest bar spaces in town.
