Fang Huichuntang is identified by a grand facade with a black lacquer door decorated with brass nails, situated along the stone-paved Hefang Street. Founded in sixteen forty-nine, the pharmacy was established by a local physician named Fang Qingyi, who used the name "Huichuntang" to express his hope that patients would recover their health as spring returns to withered trees.
