Krasnal Rzeźnik

The Krasnal Rzeźnik, or Butcher Dwarf, is a small bronze figure found in the Stare Jatki arcade. It belongs to a wider family of hundreds of statues scattered throughout Wrocław. You can pick this one out by its proximity to a memorial sculpture of farm animals, which includes a cow, a pig, and a goat. The figure stands as part of a tradition that began in two thousand five with the installation of the first five statues designed by sculptor Tomasz Moczek.
