Pomnik Anonimowego Przechodnia we Wrocławiu

Fourteen bronze figures occupy the intersection of Świdnicka and Piłsudskiego streets, frozen in the act of descending into or emerging from the pavement. The installation features seven life-sized pedestrians on one side of the road appearing to sink into the ground, while seven others rise from the sidewalk on the opposite corner. Dressed in the hats, coats, and accessories of the nineteen seventies—including a stroller and briefcases—the figures are cast in a way that suggests they are walking through an invisible tunnel beneath the city.
