Hacı Şerif is a confectionary shop in Eminönü known for serving warm semolina halva topped with cold scoops of Turkish ice cream. The shop is part of a family business that began in nineteen thirty-eight in Babadağ, a town in Denizli province, when Mehmet Tevfik Helvacı and his son, Şerif Helvacı, started crafting traditional sweets.
