Charles Dickens Museum

The Charles Dickens Museum is housed within a Georgian terraced building at forty-eight Doughty Street. This structure is distinguished by its classic symmetry, square windows, and blue plaque marking it as the only surviving London home of the author. Dickens moved here in eighteen thirty-seven at the age of twenty-five, living in the house for two years with his wife Catherine and their growing family.
