The London Mithraeum is a reconstructed Roman temple hidden beneath the modern Bloomberg headquarters. You can identify the site by its entrance, which leads deep underground to the location where the temple was first uncovered. Built around the year two hundred and forty, this sanctuary was dedicated to Mithras, a mysterious god favored by Roman soldiers and merchants.
