Seventeen St Anne's Court in Soho is marked by a blue plaque honoring David Bowie, who recorded several of his career-defining albums here. Between nineteen sixty-eight and nineteen eighty-one, this building housed Trident Studios, a facility founded by brothers Norman and Barry Sheffield. Unlike the rigid, formal recording spaces common at the time, the brothers built a studio focused on a relaxed atmosphere paired with cutting-edge technology.
