Titanic Distillery & Pump House

The Titanic Pump-House is a listed industrial building that first opened in nineteen eleven to service the Thompson Graving Dock. This structure was designed to hold the massive equipment required to drain twenty-six million imperial gallons of water from the dock in ninety minutes, a feat that allowed engineers to fit out the largest liners of the era. The building remains the only authentic Titanic landmark in Belfast, sitting right alongside the dry dock where the ship rested before her maiden voyage.
