Belfast Harbour Marina is identified by the rows of recreational vessels moored within the protected waters of the Abercorn Basin. This public facility was constructed in two thousand nine specifically to host the arrival of the Tall Ships fleet for a major international maritime festival. Before its development, this area was a working part of the historic shipyards where large-scale vessels were once built and launched.
