Ulster Hall

The Ulster Hall is a classic Victorian music hall on Bedford Street, distinguished by its red-brick facade and an intricate iron-and-glass canopy. Opened in eighteen sixty-two, it was designed by local architect William Barre to provide the growing city of Belfast with a large, formal venue for entertainment and public discourse. Inside, the space is dominated by the Mulholland Grand Organ, a massive Victorian pipe organ donated by the former Lord Mayor Andrew Mulholland.
