The Titanic Memorial Garden

The Titanic Memorial Garden sits on the eastern side of the grounds of Belfast City Hall, easily identified by a white marble monument featuring a female figure holding a laurel wreath over a drowned sailor. This garden opened on April fifteenth, two thousand twelve, to mark the centenary of the ship’s sinking. It is set on two levels, with the lower terrace surrounding that original monument, which was first dedicated in June nineteen twenty.
