The Duncairn in North Belfast is marked by the architecture of a former Presbyterian church, a nineteenth-century building that now functions as an arts center. Its most striking physical feature is the tall, narrow spire of the old chapel, which rises above the surrounding red-brick terraced houses and remains a visual anchor for this working-class district.
