Royal Navy Museums: HMS Caroline

HMS Caroline is a light cruiser defined by a low, gray silhouette moored within Alexandra Dock. Launched in nineteen fourteen, the ship holds the distinction of being the final surviving vessel from the Battle of Jutland, which was the largest naval engagement of the First World War. While most warships of that era were dismantled, she remained in commission for nearly one hundred years.
