Pacific Biological Laboratories

Pacific Biological Laboratories is a small, unpainted, two-story wood-frame building located on Cannery Row. Between nineteen thirty-seven and nineteen forty-eight, it functioned as a biological supply house where marine biologist Ed Ricketts processed tidepool specimens to ship to schools and museums across the country.
