Raven Grill

The Raven Grill at thirty-one twenty-five Mount Pleasant Street Northwest is marked by a pair of vintage neon signs in the front window, each depicting the bar's name on either side of a tilted cocktail glass labeled, "Cocktails." Since opening in nineteen thirty-five, two years after the end of Prohibition, the establishment has held one of the District of Columbia's oldest active liquor licenses. Inside, the space remains anchored by six original built-in wood booths that have lined the wall for over nine decades.
