Kalorama Park is a three-acre triangle of green space where Columbia Road, Kalorama Road, and Nineteenth Street converge. Its defining feature is a sloping, wooded western hillside that offers views across the Rock Creek Valley. While it today functions as a neighborhood park with basketball courts, community gardens, and playgrounds, the land holds a much older, darker history.
