The Embassy of India’s chancery is a complex of two interconnected, historic buildings on Massachusetts Avenue. You can identify the site by the bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi, which stands outside the building in a small park area where Q Street meets Massachusetts Avenue. This statue depicts Gandhi during his nineteen thirty march to the sea in protest of salt taxes.
