Engine Company Twenty-One on Lanier Place is a Spanish Colonial Revival building constructed in nineteen oh eight. You can recognize it by the distinct architectural style designed by Appleton P. Clark Junior, which was created to match the nearby apartment buildings like The Ontario. At the time of its completion, the station was located on the outskirts of the city and was equipped with a chemical engine for use in areas where municipal water lines had not yet reached.
