Chinatown Cultural Plaza

The Chinatown Cultural Plaza is marked by its traditional Chinese courtyard design, featuring curved eaves, red columns, and stone bridges over water. Built in nineteen seventy-four, it occupies an entire city block at one hundred North Beretania Street. The plaza was created through the combined efforts of six local organizations—including the Chee Kung Tong, the Kuo Min Tang, and the Mun Lun School—to provide a space that would preserve Chinese culture and traditions within Honolulu.
