Aloha Tower is a one hundred eighty-four-foot structure in Honolulu Harbor, easily identified by the word "ALOHA" etched in large letters on all four sides of its upper levels. Completed in nineteen twenty-six and designed in the Hawaiian Gothic style, it served for forty years as the tallest building in Hawaii. During the era of ocean travel, it functioned as a beacon for incoming ships, greeting passengers with its lighthouse and one of the largest clocks in the United States.
