The Forbes Field Outfield Wall stands as a reddish brick expanse on the University of Pittsburgh campus, marking the perimeter where baseball history unfolded for over sixty years. Built in nineteen oh nine as part of a pioneering steel and concrete ballpark, this section of the wall once formed the boundary for one of the most spacious outfields in the major leagues. The brickwork features painted distance markers of four hundred fifty-seven feet and four hundred thirty-six feet, remnants of the deep dimensions that tested generations of players.
