The Roedde House Museum is a late-Victorian home on Barclay Street, distinguished by an asymmetrical design, wrap-around verandas, and a turret that rises above the surrounding garden. Built in eighteen ninety-three, the house served as the residence for Gustav Roedde, who operated the first bookbindery in Vancouver, and his family. The structure is an example of the Queen Anne Revival style, featuring wooden craftsmanship common in the city during its early development.
