The square de la République in Montreuil is defined by its recent transition into a car-free urban space, centered on a playground and surrounded by local cafes. Covering over ten thousand square meters, the area underwent a major redesign that concluded in July two thousand twenty-two, which sought to connect the park directly to the surrounding streets by removing former barriers.
