Square Claude-Nicolas-Ledoux is a public garden tucked behind the western pavilion of the former Barrière d’Enfer. You can identify the space by its winding English-style paths and the stone monument to Ludovic Trarieux, the founder of the French League for Human Rights, which stands at its center. Established in eighteen ninety-four, the square occupies a site that once served as the Barrière d’Orléans enclosure.
