Parc Montsouris

Parc Montsouris covers fifteen hectares in the fourteenth arrondissement of Paris. The park consists of a rolling, English-style landscape, which features a large artificial lake and winding paths that climb across varied terrain. Created during the mid-nineteenth century under the direction of Emperor Napoleon III and Baron Haussmann, the park provided a green refuge for the southern edge of the city.
