The Liberation of Paris Museum - General Leclerc Museum - Jean Moulin Museum

The Liberation of Paris Museum occupies two historical pavilions designed by architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux in seventeen eighty-seven on Place Denfert-Rochereau. These buildings, along with an adjacent nineteenth-century structure, house a collection documenting the French Resistance and the military efforts to end the Nazi occupation during World War Two. The exhibits center on the lives and actions of two figures: Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque, who commanded the Free French forces, and Jean Moulin, who organized the Resistance from within.
