Maison Ozenfant

The Maison Ozenfant is a striking, starkly white cubical building located at the corner of Avenue Reille and Square Montsouris. Designed in nineteen twenty-two by Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret, it was the first project the architect built in Paris. Its exterior is defined by clean, geometric lines and the absence of traditional ornamentation, serving as an early, built manifesto for the Purist movement that Le Corbusier developed alongside the painter Amédée Ozenfant.
