Collège néerlandais

The Collège néerlandais is marked by its rigid, orthogonal geometry and a striking corner tower that recalls the medieval belfries of northern Europe. Designed by the architect Willem Marinus Dudok and inaugurated in nineteen thirty-eight, it stands within the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris. The building represents the only work Dudok ever completed in France, reflecting the functionalist principles of the Amsterdam School through its interweaving volumes and large, horizontal strip windows.
