Musée de la Sculpture en Plein Air

The Musée de la Sculpture en Plein Air lines the banks of the Seine with contemporary stone, metal, and concrete forms that stand directly on the pavement without frames or barriers. Stretching for six hundred meters along the Quai Saint-Bernard, this open-air museum occupies the Square Tino-Rossi in the fifth arrondissement. It emerged between nineteen seventy-five and nineteen eighty to bring art into the open, positioning roughly fifty sculptures from the second half of the twentieth century against the backdrop of the river and the city.
