Hôtel Lambert

The Hôtel Lambert occupies the eastern tip of the Île Saint-Louis, where its baroque limestone walls and formal gardens meet the Seine. Built between sixteen forty and sixteen forty-four by the architect Louis Le Vau, the mansion features a central courtyard and an interior once decorated by the same artists who worked on the Palace of Versailles, including Charles Le Brun.
