A single, weathered fragment of stone masonry protected behind a glass pane marks the site of what was once the political and religious core of Roman Paris. This remnant sits tucked at the entrance of an underground parking garage at sixty-one Boulevard Saint-Michel. It is all that remains visible to the public of the Forum of Lutetia, a sprawling complex that covered over fifteen thousand square meters during the first century of the common era.
