This portrait of Jean-Paul Belmondo spans one hundred seventy square meters, a monumental tribute to the actor who died in September twenty twenty-one. It was created by artist Elodie Iwanski and unveiled in December twenty twenty-two as part of a city-wide program that turns local buildings into an open-air museum of cinema history. The mural occupies a wall in the Gambetta district, positioned near the junction of Rue Jean-Jaurès and Passage Châteaudun, where it overlooks the expressway.
