Cannes Walk of Fame

The Cannes Walk of Fame, or Chemin des Étoiles, is defined by its collection of stainless steel plaques embedded directly into the pavement. You can distinguish these markers by the handprints and signatures of actors and directors who have visited the city for the annual Cannes Film Festival. These plates are set into the ground across the Esplanade Georges Pompidou, spreading out from the base of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
