The Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism is a striking, white, cube-shaped building with large, asymmetrical window sections. It opened in two thousand fifteen on the exact ground where the Brown House once stood. The Brown House was a neoclassical mansion that the Nazi party purchased in nineteen thirty to serve as its headquarters, transforming the surrounding area near Königsplatz into a primary center for its administration, propaganda, and mass rallies.
