The Bukom Boxing Arena is a large, open-air structure that stands as a landmark in Ussher Town, characterized by sixteen tiers of terrace seating that can hold four thousand spectators. Commissioned in two thousand sixteen, this multipurpose facility includes a sports hall and an Olympic-size swimming pool. Its construction in this neighborhood honors the legacy of a community that has produced numerous world boxing champions, such as Azumah Nelson and David Kotei, who is known as D.K. Poison.
