The Jamestown Fishing Harbour is recognizable by its hundreds of colorful wooden pirogues, each painted with vibrant patterns and often bearing names, proverbs, or biblical phrases. Tucked between the colonial-era stone walls of the British James Fort and the Dutch Ussher Fort, this site serves as the operational heart of the local fishing industry for the Ga people.
